Super Sunday in Tipp for GAA fans

This weekend theres a Super Sunday in store for GAA followers as the county senior hurling and football semi finals take place.

Kilruane McDonaghs have notched up a number of good wins to date in the hurling championship.

The McDonaghs defeated West champions Eire Og Annacarthy in the quarter final and on Sunday go up against Thurles Sarsfields.

They will start as underdogs but Kilruanes manager Liam O Shea told Tipp FM Sport his side will relish taking on the reigning champions.

This game opens proceedings at Semple Stadium at 1.30 with Drom Inch against Nenagh Eire Og following at 3pm.

 

In football theres a double header in Cashel when Clonmel Commercials meet Aherlow Gaels at 1pm while at 2.30 Arravale Rovers meet Moyle Rovers.

Commercials manager Charlie McGeever told Tipp FM Sport the games are coming thick and fast. 

 

The county Senior camogie final also takes place on Sunday.

Drom Inch will meet Burgess Duharra in The Ragg in the decider which gets underway at 12 noon.

So a huge Sunday in store for gaelic games followers this weekend.
