The need to urgently fill a number of key staff vacancies at South Tipperary General Hospital was raised in the Dail by Deputy Mattie McGrath last evening.
The Independent TD says assurances given to him by the Health Minister on securing seven Medical Registrar's for the Clonmel hospital must now be followed through.
He says these vacancies are causing significant difficulties for the treatment of patients.
