Labour MEP for Munster, Phil Prendergast has called for an honest and truthful campaign in the forthcoming referendum on the Stability Treaty.
Referendums in the past have descended to pantomime levels between lobbying groups, according to the MEP.
She said the text of the Stability Treaty is short, unlike the Lisbon Treaty, and she's urging people to read it for themselves before making their minds up.
