St Stephen’s Day replay for County Football final.

The replay of the Senior Football County final has been scheduled for Friday next, St Stephen's Day in Leahy Park, in Cashel, with throw-in at 1 o'clock.

Yesterday's enthralling decider saw Loughmore-Castleiney and Cahir finish up all square after over 60 minutes of high quality football.

The final score was Cahir 1-10 Loughmore-Castleiney 2-7.

Reports this morning say Cahir will be without Robbie Costigan for the replay due to a rib injury picked up yesterday.

Loughmore were looking to make history by becoming the first side to retain the O'Dwyer Cup and they'll get a second bite at the cherry on Friday.

The County Intermediate football semi-final replay saw Drom-&-Inch beat Borrisokane in Templederry. The final score was Drom-&-inch 2-8 Borrisokane nine points.

They will now come up against Upperchurch-Drombane in final. 

Fethard have been relegated to intermediate football next year after they suffered defeat to Moycarkey Borris in Boherlahan.    The final score was Moycarkey 2-9 Fethard 1-4.

Cappawhite/Treacys powered past Golden/Kilfeacle in the West Under 21 'B' hurling final…beating them on a scoreline of 3-18 to Golden's 2-9.

The south Tipp U21 'A' Hurling semi-final ended in a draw…Ballingarry and Carrick-Swans could not be separated in their encounter, with a final score of Ballingarry 1-9 Carrick-Swans 12 points.
