The South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association is holding a 15 kilometre event dubbed “Walk the Long Way Round”
The walk – which is for over 18's only – will start at their base on the Heywood Road in Clonmel and take in part of the Comeraghs.
This is the second year of the walk – it attracted 300 people last year.
Jimmy Barry from SEMRA says the funds raised tonight are vital for their efforts.
