Semple Stadium is set to receive the inaugural award for the best GAA pitch in Ireland this afternoon.
The presentation ceremony will take part in Croke Park, as part of the build-up to the All Ireland semi final between Cork and Waterford.
David Morgan stadium director at the field of legends, says there’s a team of people heading to headquarters to collect the award.
