Flight services from the Mid West have gotten a boost.
Low fares carrier Ryanair has announced it will begin flights from Shannon airport to French city Poitiers as part of its summer schedule.
The route will operate twice weekly and begin on the 4th of April.
This latest addition brings to 9 the number of new routes that Ryanair has announced for the Mid West airport
This is also the first time that the French city has been on the Shannon schedule.
