Ryan makes Ireland squad for World Cup

Nenagh's Donnacha Ryan has been included in the 31 man panel confirmed by head coach Joe Schmidt today.

The squad is made up of 17 forwards and 14 backs…they will be Captained by Munster and Limerick legend Paul O'Connell, while other provincial representation comes from the likes of Conor Murray, Keith Earls and Simon Zebo. 

Andrew Trimble, Isacc Boss, Michael Bent and the injury affected Marty Moore are among those to miss out while Darren Cave and Tadhg Furlong are included while Cahir's Tommy O'Donnell also misses out due to injury. 

Ireland gets its bid for World Cup glory underway on the 19th of September against Canada in Cardiff.
