A cold weather warning from Met Éireann remains in place for Tipperary until 10 o’clock this morning.
Commuters are being reminded to leave extra time for their journeys with particular caution advised on minor roads which may not have been treated.
There are a number of schools closed including the Presentation in Ballingarry.
Also closed today are the Commons National School along with Lisnamrock, Ballingarry and Slieveardagh National Schools.
Jim Ryan’s school bus from Rossmore – Drombane to Thurles is not operating today while O’Donoghue’s bus service to Ballingarry and Killenaule are also not running.
