Motorists are being advised to take care on roads this morning.
The warning from Gardaí comes as two crashes have occurred on the M8 just outside Cahir.
It’s understood both are on the M8 Dublin/Cork road between J11 Cahir South and J12 Mitchelstown North – one northbound and one southbound each way.
The condition of the occupants of the vehicles are not yet known – but emergency services are at the scene.
Conditions on the road are reportedly very slushy – and motorists are advised to slow down and take care.
