Drivers are being warned that new road regulations are being enforced in Tipperary over the New Year period.

The laws implemented in October this year mean anyone caught with 50-80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood will be disqualified from driving for three months and receive a €200 fine.

Inspector James White says drivers involved in road incidents will be breathalysed.
