At least one person a day is arrested for drink driving in the Premier county.
The news comes as Tipperary Gardaí announce an increased presence on the roads over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Gardaí are appealing to motorists to slow down and not to drink and drive.
Speaking on Tipp Today Inspector James White said the figures are disappointing.
