It’s back to the drawing board for Tipperary County Council in relation to Ardfinnan Bridge.
While An Board Pleanala has cleared the way for vital repair works to the crossing they have ruled out the traffic light controlled one-way system the council was operating.
Director of Services Matt Shortt says they will have to come up with an alternative as the safety issue on the bridge is still a major concern.
