The long awaited roadworks at Borrisokane are finally set to get underway, following the signing of the contracts yesterday.
McEvoy construction will carry out the works at an estimated cost of around 3 million euro.
Construction is set to begin immediately with a date of completion expected around next summer.
Councillor in the Nenagh district, Joe Hannigan, feels the roadworks will rejuvenate the town.
