A young Carrick on Suir man has become the latest victim on Ireland’s roads.
John Fleming – who is a native of Skough just a few miles from Carrick – lost his life in a collision near Cork city last evening.
The 25 year old’s motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car at Glanmire at around 6 o’clock.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Cork University Hospital.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Gardaí in Cork are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact them.
