One case of the Norovirus has been confirmed in the male medical ward at Tyone while three other patients are showing symptoms.
As a result and in accordance with national guidelines visiting to the male ward has been restricted to close relatives only until further notice, while young children or anybody with compromised immune system should also avoid the unit.
However visitor hours remain the same and no other area of the hospital is affected by the visitor restrictions.
