Report due on Air France crash.

A French report has found that pilot error and a technical fault were the cause of a plane crash which claimed the life of a young Roscrea woman.

27 year old Dr. Aisling Butler and her friends Jane Deasy and Eithne Walls were among 228 people killed when an Air France flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris plunged into the Atlantic in June 2009.

A source close to the case is reported as saying human error and malfunctioning speed sensors were responsible.

The French Aviation Safety Authority is to present its final report on the crash today.
