North Tipperary Councillor Seamie Morris believes a rogue element within Tipperary Sinn Fein is behind efforts to have him expelled from the county’s Comhairle Ceantair

Last night it issued a statement that a vote of no confidence in the Nenagh Municipal District representative had been passed by the local Ceantair in the Premier on Wednesday last.

The statement claims the motion comes on the back of nine months of trying to resolve difficulties with him and that they have now voted to expel him from Tipperary Sinn Fein.

Tipp FM understands that this statement was not ratified by Party HQ and therefore is not binding however speaking to Tipp FM’s Fran Curry – local SF spokesperson Kevin Brunnick believes their motion stands

While speaking on Tipp Today Clr Morris says he has no case to answer and that he has been effectively persecuted for months
