The problem of patients having to lie on trolleys at South Tipperary General Hospital is continuing today.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 17 people without a bed at the Clonmel facility.
The “Trolley Watch” figures for Monday and Tuesday showed there were 16 people in a similar situation each day at South Tipp General.
Nationally there are 308 people on trolleys in hospitals across the country today – both Cork University Hospital and the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick have 26 patients on trolleys.
