Tipperary County Councillors are hoping that the Government has taken on board their concerns at the original draft National Planning Framework.

In the previous proposal, planning permission could be granted for only 575 houses in Tipperary in the entire year.

Councillor Hughie McGrath says that this would have had a detrimental effect on towns like Nenagh, who have hopes of growing their economy.
