End of the line for Dundalk in Champions League qualifiers

The League of Ireland champions were held to a scoreless draw by BATE Borisov, which was enough to send the Belarussian side through to the third round of qualifiers with a 2-1 aggregate win.

However, Celtic sealed their place in the next round after they completed a 6-1 aggregate win over Stjarnan in Iceland last night.

The focus switches to the Europa League qualifiers tonight.

UCD will play host to Slovan Bratislava this evening, with The Students hoping to overturn a 1-0 first-leg defeat in Slovakia.

Meanwhile, Shamrock Rovers have made the trip to Norway in hope more than expectation as they look to bounce-back from their 2-0 loss to their opponents, Odd.

Both matches will kick-off this evening at 6pm.
