Dáil suspended following row

Sean Barrett abandoned all business for the rest of the day, after demanding votes to expel three TDs from the chamber.

Catherine Murphy, John Halligan and Thomas Pringle were all kicked out after complaining about how speaking time was being assigned.

The Technical Group is being told it must accommodate two members of the Reform Alliance, who will be given some of the group's speaking time.

Business was held up for over 90 minutes with the dispute – with the Dáil suspended three times – before business was eventually abandoned entirely.
