REI Wind Developments Ltd had sought to construct a 50 metre high turbine on lands at Glenlough Upper in Hollyford.
This would also include a 25 square metre electrical substation, site entrance and all ancillary works.
However the plans submitted to Tipperary County Council have been turned down by planners at the local authority.
