There are also reports that the roof at the Hospital of the Assumption in Thurles is leaking despite renovations being carried out there in recent years.
The matter has been raised with the Health Service Executive by Sinn Féin.
Speaking on Tipp today County Councillor Martin Browne said answers are needed as a matter of urgency.
