New Glamping Plans Unveiled for Tipperary

Plans have been unveiled for a new tourism venture in Tipperary.

A planning application has been lodged with the county council for a glamping site between the Galtees and Knockmealdowns

The proposals are for 8 units at Knockaarum, Burncourt just a few kilometres from the Mitchelstown Caves.

Glamping is a form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping.

Tipperary County Council is due to rule on the planning application from Shirley and Helen Walsh by October 7th.
