Motorists are being advised to take care on the roads this morning.

Following the heavy rain and snowfall across the county yesterday, and overnight, roads are icy in some places this morning.

Tipperary County Council have been out salting roads from early this morning but some patches remain icy with local roads the most dangerous

A number of bus routes will not run this morning – O’Donoghues bus service from Clonmel to Ballingarry will not run.
While the Primary school bus in Ballyneale Carrick on Suir will not be running.
Also the Jim ryan school bus from Rosmore Drombane to Thurles will not run today.

The only schools in Tipperary which have confirmed they will not be opening are the Presentation in Ballingarry, Lisnamrock National school and Colaiste Mhuire in Johnstown
