Man due in court in connection with Pallasgreen robbery

A 28-year-old man is to be charged later this morning in connection with an aggravated burglary at the home of three elderly siblings.

The suspect is due to appear before Limerick District Court at half past 10.

74-year-old Willie Creed, and his sisters Nora, aged 72, and Chrissie, aged 66, were left severely traumatised after the violent robbery on their home at Ballyluddy, Pallasgreen, on May 31st.

All three were tied up, beaten, and robbed by a two-man gang armed with knives.

A 27-year-old man, arrested in Monard last week, is still being questioned about the robbery.
