This follows an incident at the weekend where another man was stabbed at Riverdale, Cahir.
Darius Komar was charged with assault causing harm but he also appeared on several counts of burglaries in Cahir town.
Garda Tom Sheehy, giving evidence of arrest and caution, told the court that Komar is charged with break-ins to a local school, a pub and four other businesses in Cahir.
He was remanded to Limerick prison until next Tuesday's District Court sitting.
