Major reduction in drug crime

 

Drug crime in the Tipperary Garda Division has fallen by 42% since 2008.

This is well above the national average of 26% while just two Garda Divisions have recorded an increase in such crime – with Louth up 43% and Limerick up 8%.

In the Tipperary Division there were 442 drug crimes recorded – the lowest in the country was Mayo with 153.
