Major improvement works are getting underway this week on a stretch of water mains in Tipperary town. 4 months to complete
The project will see the replacement of 1.5 kilometres of old water mains in the town.
The works in the Davitt Street area will cost €800,000.
The project will take around 4 months to complete and while it will cause some traffic disruption local Councillor Denis Leahy says it’s worthwhile.
