Lack of proper broadband holding back Tipperary businesses

Tipperary business owners have been reacting to the news that Eir have pulled out of the race to provide broadband across the country.

It now means E-net will get the contract – but they will have to engage with Eir who already have infrastructure in place across rural Ireland.

Those in the County still waiting for high speed broadband are now fearful that they will be left without for even longer than expected.

Declan Collison, of Lough Derg House, says Eir are sitting pretty, and those waiting for much needed broadband are left with the mess.
