Labour TD claims Taoiseach’s inaction on Lowry Tapes is damaging politics.

A Labour TD claims the reputation of politics is being damaged by the Taoiseach's failure to refer the Lowry Tapes to Justice Moriarty.

According to the Sunday Independent Deputy Kevin Humphrey's is also warning that the taxpayer could be left with a bill for millions of Euro in legal fees by Enda Kenny's failure to act.

The tapes are of a conversation between the Independent TD Michael Lowry and land agent Kevin Phelan about an alleged undeclared payment of quarter of a million pounds Sterling.

Dublin South East T.D Kevin Humphrey's claims Michael Lowry is part of the Fine Gael DNA pool and that this is one of the reasons why the Taoiseach has not called on the Moriarty Tribunal to review the tapes.
