The Mullinahone clubman lifted the Liam McCarthy cup in 2010 and was also part of the Tipperary All Ireland winning team of 2001.
Clare take on Limerick in Thurles on Sunday with the winners meeting Tipperary on June 21st.
The five time Munster medal winner is confident Tipp will be in the provincial decider.
