Tipperary TD Alan Kelly has branded as “lies” claims that he mislead greyhound owners into believing he could root out corruption or dismantle the Irish Greyhound Board.
Speaking on Tipp Today – representatives from the Tipperary Greyhound Owner and Breeders Association insist they have no confidence in the board’s ability to help the industry recover.
While for its part the IGB insists the sale of Harolds Cross Greyhound Stadium was necessary and they have viable plans for boosting the perfornace of the flagging sector.
