Nenagh Gardaí say this incident happened at Bike Park Ireland, Fairy Mount Farm in Ballingarry at around 3 o’clock last Saturday afternoon.
50 year old Warren Smith, originally from the UK but living in Limerick suffered fatal injuries as was descending the bike trail in the privately run outdoor activity park.
The father of one was pronounced dead at the scene and his remains removed to University Hospital Limerick for a post-mortem.
Nenagh Gardai say they are not treating his death as suspicious but are investigating for the purposes for a Coroners Report
A spokesperson from Bike Park Ireland told Tipp FM they are not in a position to comment on the tragic accident but confirmed they are fully engaging with the investigation process.
