Hurricane Irma’s killed at least 14 people

Hurricane Irma’s now killed a total of 14 people in the Caribbean, triggering flooding and destroying homes on a massive scale.

Overnight it struck the British territory of the Turks and Caicos (pron: kay-koss) Islands with waves as high as 20 feet.

Irma’s now slightly weakened, with winds of up to 155 miles per hours, and is expected to strike Florida over the weekend

Another storm – Jose  – which has been upgraded to a category three – is also heading for the region.
