Eirgird are holding an information day in South Tipperary today.
This coincides with plans for the Grid Link project, which takes in much of South Tipp.
The project consists of high voltage power lines, linking Munster and Leinster.
The open day being held by Eirgrid is taking place at the Clonmel Park hotel from 12.30 to 8pm today.
