Visiting restrictions have been put in place in the Maternity Hospital in Limerick due to the high number of cases of influenza.
The HSE are restricting visitors to just partners or support person…other family members, including siblings, are being asked not to come to the hospital.
Outpatients, Parent craft Education Classes and pre arranged Hospital Admissions are not affected.
The Health Service Executive say the restrictions will remain in place until the situation has been resolved.
