AA Roadwatch is appealing to motorists to take care on the roads today and this week, as icy conditions have made driving conditions hazardous.
Temperatures dipped to as low as minus four degrees last night and Met Eireann says severe frost is expected to continue this week with icy stretches and some freezing fog patches across the country.
Gardai across Tipperary say the roads are mostly dry throughout the county however caution is advised as icy patches are possible, especially on secondary roads.
