Housing development plans in Nenagh stalled

Plans for a new housing development in North Tipperary have hit a stumbling block.

The application for an estate near Nenagh has been deemed incomplete.

Proposals were submitted to Tipperary County Council on October 27th for 19 houses at Ballycommon, Nenagh.

The plans entailed the demolition of an existing derelict dwelling – this would have been replaced with 11 two-storey and 8 single-storey houses in a mixture of detached and semi-detached.

However local authority planning officers have ruled that the application lodged with them was incomplete.

As a result the company behind the proposals – Doncarrig Ltd – will have to draw up revised plans and resubmit them to Tipperary County Council if they wish to proceed with their application.
