Overcrowding is once again a major issue at hospitals serving Tipperary this lunchtime.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are nearly 60 patients without a bed between South Tipp General and University Hospital Limerick.

The Clonmel hospital has 25 people split between corridors around the Emergency Department and overflow areas of wards.

In Dooradoyle 33 patients who have been admitted are still waiting for a bed.
