UHL and STGH among most overcrowded in the country

More than 20% of patients on trolleys at hospitals today are in the two main hospitals serving Tipperary.

There are 61 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick, which serves North Tipp.

Meanwhile there are 31 patients waiting for a bed at South Tipp General in Clonmel.

Nationally, according to the INMO, there are 446 patients without a bed this afternoon.
