There are 285 people waiting on trolleys in hospitals across the country today.

That’s an increase of 3% on the same day last year.

University Hospital Limerick – which covers North Tipperary – is the worst affected with 45 people without a bed.

South Tipp General in Clonmel has just 2 people on trolleys today.
