Study calls for early education to prevent obesity

The risk of obesity and chronic disease in adults could be reduced by focusing more on early childhood health services.

According to a report by the Royal College of Physicians Ireland, we’re not doing enough to ensure that babies’ negative experiences don’t have an impact on their later lives.

It wants more supports to be provided to mothers and families in the areas of mental health, nutrition and immunisation.
