Premier residents urged to have blood pressure checked

385 Tipperary people have availed of the Irish Heart’s Mobile Health Unit free blood pressure checks in the last year.

151 men and 234 women availed of the service when it visited the county.

The unit incorporates two professional consultation rooms where attendees can avail of free blood pressure checks which are entirely non-invasive

Its aim is to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke in the community.
