43 people are being treated on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this afternoon.

Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show that the Dooradyle Hospital is by far the most overcrowded in the country today.

The hospital with the next highest trolley figure today is Cork University Hospital with nine, while there are seven more people without a proper bed at St Luke’s in Kilkenny.
