Overcrowding issues in Limerick and Clonmel

1 in 6 of patients waiting for a bed today are in hospitals serving the Tipperary region.

University Hospital Limerick has 45 people on trolleys in the Emergency Department and in overflow areas of wards. While there are 31 people waiting at South Tipp General in Clonmel.

Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded with 46 people in need of a bed.

In all the INMO are reporting that there are 425 patients waiting for a bed at hospitals across the country.
