Meeting sought with Varadkar and Harris on South Tipp General

The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Health Minister Simon Harris have been invited to meet with the ‘Save our Acute Hospital Services’ Committee in Clonmel.

The party will be in the town later this month for the Fine Gael Convention.

To coincide with the meeting Tipp TD Seamus Healy has invited the Taoiseach and Minister for Health to discuss with the group the urgent need for additional acute in-patient beds at South Tipperary General Hospital, and the proposal for a 40 bed modular type accommodation unit.

Deputy Healy says it’s very important to air locals concerns with both the Taoiseach and Minister.
