Major overcrowding at UHL

Over 300 people are on hospital trolleys today, according to nurses.

The latest trolley watch report shows University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded.

The Dooradoyle hospital – which serves North Tipperary, Clare and Limerick – has 42 people waiting for a bed.

At South Tipp General in Clonmel there are 13 people without a bed today.

Wexford General has 35 while St Luke’s in Kilkenny has 28 people in their Emergency Departments and overflow areas of wards.
