The new Emergency Department in Limerick is by far the most over crowded in the country today.

The newly opened A&E at UHL – which serves North Tipperary – has 47 patients waiting for beds.

379 people are on trolleys at hospitals across the country according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

South Tipp general in Clonmel is not too bad today with just 12 people waiting on chairs and trolleys.
